Thanks. That's the challenge & fun of using line drawings. The wire is actually an annealed ribbon of copper so there are some restraints, like, for example, short detached lines will fall over & sink beneath the glass if not sufficently curved. That being said, with fingers, wire-cutters & patience, anyone can do it. I'm basically a self-taught enamelist & it surprises me that none of the enamelists that I've seen do this sort of line-drawings to any extent. I like working with other artists & my sister, Barb Jamieson, who did most of the dog sketches, is wonderfully artistic.

After you finally get the walls attached, there are the layers of enamel and cleaning between and then the grinding and polishing of the surface. No, no, no. It's NOT as easy as you say. In fact, it's downright difficult! That's why there aren't that many others doing it. Silly. LOL.
Have you tried plique a jour?
I fooled around with enameling many years ago. Still have all the equipment and want to tackle it again someday, 4000 other pending projects permitting. Eyes going, fingers clumsy.....
