As I wrote on the preview for this release, I was fairly frustrated with the inconsistency of the iTunes layout. In light of that, I set out to redesign the interface with two things in mind: simplicity and consistency. After spending hours counting pixels, I came up with this. I'm not 100% satisfied with it, though I doubt I ever will be. Regardless, this was more or less a an attempt to centre and align everything properly. Hence the title.You'll recognize elements from Roberto Urso's Caesar theme ([link] ), Gpopper's EasyBlack iTunes theme ([link] ), and Agarwal and Rhyguy's Liscio theme ([link] ). Though I have spent a great deal of time revamping these elements and making them my own, I have nevertheless sought permission from all authors, which has been granted. Roberto requested that I specify which of his resources I used. As I recall, the main things are the lcd, the bezeled buttons and corresponding background colour as well as scroll bars.
Other than that, I hope you enjoy. Comments are welcome and appreciated.

This skin looks amazing, this should really be the default theme on iTunes! I would prefer sharp corners instead of rounded ones though, but it looks really clean otherwise!

Thank you all for the kind comments. Though the design hasn't turned out to be immensely popular, I'm happy that those of you who like it seem to really like it.
By way of an update for those interested, all of my projects are currently on hold. In addition to recently swapping out my hard drive, I am also battling off an illness, and have been for the better half of a year, which has just now taken a turn for the worse. Nothing would please me more than to return to design as soon as possible. I'll do my best to keep those of you on watch updated.

That's a little more complicated. It would involve me releasing a system-wide theme. You can try Roberto's Caesar theme though. Check the link above. The scroll bars aren't exactly the same but they're still very nice.

Sorry friend, this release is for Leopard only. However, there is talk about porting it to windows. I'll let you know

Thanks for the positive feedback and the fav! Indeed, many hours (perhaps redundantly) were spent counting pixels, centering resources, and creating glyphs, but I'm glad it has been noticed.
