Description This was my first character comparison that I've ever done. I just want to point out, even though I'm using Uly as a negative, he and the show he comes from are definitely worth your while.

Everything you said about Cookie Monster is true, he is the most relatable character to me. Plus, who doesn’t want to eat cookies like him? πŸ˜‹ Cookie Monster really teaches so much things to little kids.

All of the Sesame Street characters do.

Like The Count teaches kids how to count.

Bert and Ernie teach kids that they can still be friends even thought they're different. Etc.

Cookie Monster rules!
I've loved him ever since I was a toddler, and that was thirty years ago!
A few other points about him:
1. While cookies are obviously his favorite food, he can eat literally ANYTHING (i.e. There was an old 'Sesame Street' special in which the gang goes to an art museum and Cookie sings a song to remind himself not to eat the paintings and statues and whatnot; That special ends with him eating an entire hot dog stand!). That's pretty darn funny.
2. Cookie Monster can demonstrate surprising amounts of self- control/ restraint when the occasion calls for it. For instance, when he and Sir Ian McKellen are explaining about the meaning of the word "Resist" (Hilarious sketch, btw; Look it up on Youtube), he willingly waits on taking/ eating a chocolate chip cookie in order to help demonstrate what it looks like to resist something. He says, "Oh, why me pick TODAY to help with word? Okay, okay; In name of vocabulary, me stop meself and me resist the cookie!" That's downright noble of Cookie Monster! Of course, he then ate the cookie at the end of the sketch after they were done explaining the word, but hey, he earned it by that point!
3. He put up with left- wing health- food nuts accusing him of causing child obesity (Hence that "Veggie Monster" nonsense which thankfully was short- lived), yet still remained his jolly old self in spite of it!
4. His voice never fails to bring a smile to my face!
I earnestly hope that whatever 'Sesame Street' writer first created Cookie Monster got some kind of award for it! He's a great character who's definitely worthy of being the "Positive" in a Character Comparison list!
