It was the great, wide, open sea. Waves, shifting back and forth, a rhythm on the surface of deep, unknown life. A thousand little creatures, swimming, wandering in the water. Deeper still, the chasm from which it sprung: the Well of Life. Endless. They all thought it was endless. Until at last, something set foot onto the earth.
