Been awhile - I can't log on as often as before due to time/work constraints... Thanks for your as always insightful and intelligent remarks -- glad you liked some of the latest digital stuff...
this one is remarkable powerful - certainly i see the girl's face -- as far as intuiting the rest of the piece -- i think i have the visually equivalent sensation of a sneeze which is about to occur ... as with the best of cubist works it is extremely allusive (and perhaps also elusive) -- i think i see chicken claws lashing out in various directtions, a snide expression in the lower right and a smirkl in the upper left...
let me know what i'm missing old chappy ...
and the new italian guy is very interesting -- will comment on him soon...

She looks tortured, the way you placed her hands, like she's avoiding it, is that a claw in the right hand corner? And her expression seems neutral, like she doesn't. LOL, I'm stating the obvious, Huh? I Like it.

I really like this Abstract again.. it has a very cubism look to it.. which makes it more interesting..i love her singers.. they r amazing.. wat did u use? pastels? oils or chalk?? looks a bit of both.. i also really like the shadowing.. in this.. very good..

I like it, like all abstract/cubism it's a little open to intrepretation. I like it, good use of color and space too. What's the medium, pastel? One of my favorites!!! Very well done. I'd hang it in my space.

Mugwumperx is right. This picture is great in full view. Also, looking at it again, I feel that I see the meaning behind this peice. The girl looks very self-absorbed and superficial. I especially like the long puple toenail. She just doesn't care about anything, not even cutting her toenails.
