"… the boy must live to be a man"

i think this was done completely in painter 8 and i had just gotten a wacom. 2004.

i was certain i had uploaded the larger res to deviant - but alas it is not here.

it has been lost in 2 HD crashes - a PC crash in 2007 and an iMac crash sept. 2013.

i just now found it on the 2nd successful HD data retrieval ( as i am still sorting through this external drive)

i have to be thankful that i uploaded it to Facebook even though i am not on FB at present

i often downloaded my own info -

and that is why i have my own data / i.e.: art - writing contacts etc.

after years of so called "loss" "bereavement" etc.

there is always something

still growing.. life still grows all around if one looks slowly

or slows their eye down

which is what is taught in life -figure drawing as it is ..

the title of this piece used to be called "x marks the spot" (i think) or

"mark it again" - "a goodbye".

before the 2nd HD crash - i wrote a song loosely based upon this picture called

"stuardt - can i get a little help from your end".

and that song was retrieved as well.
