Okay just so people don’t argue with the details, this is meant to be them not straight after their makeover’s like a couple of months later.
I did not want max to look like this but its just how it turned out
I swear it was different in my head she was less girly…..I wasn’t sure with the height differences so I just went with anything.

But man I drew this 3 years ago answering the same question gets old quick so....
Yeah I know Max is a brunette, but she wasnt for the first three novels (from what I remember which could be shit all in my old age.) And I think the author was pretty vague at times when describing Max, Hell I thought Max was a boy untill chapter 3 of the first book
But hey If you wanna prove me wrong scan that shit up and highlight it

ok, with the whole mix up about Max have brown or Blonde hair, I'm just gonna imagine her with a mix of both, honey borwn hair, or golden brown hair. And didn't she get pink highlights? By the way, great picture, their expressions are priceless, and I love Fangs hair ;D

Actually, in the second book it says she has blonde highlights, and you can't have blonde highlights if you are blonde(duh) SOOO she was at least a brunette in the second book. Good job on the pic.

I also think that James P never made up his mind on her hair color, but that's what I read in the book. And the mangas have her blonde too. so idk? I'm confused too because other people have read her with brown hair. I can't imagine her blonde but I'm jsut saying that's what I read. :/ I don't like her being blonde either.
