Description Another Dragonlance fan art, this time the mage Raistlin Majere.
Behind him in the night sky are the three moons of Krynn, representing the three schools of magic. The right one is called Nuitari and can only be seen by black mages, which is why it's half transparent and barely recognizable.

Wasn't easy to get the golden sheen on his skin right, hope it looks ok though.
But i'm not really satisfied with his eyes. The pupils should have an hourglas shape, but they're not really there yet.

Done in DAZ Studio 4.9, rendered in Iray, postwork done in Adobe Photoshop CC and Google NIK Collection.

Best character in the DL series and a wonderful rendition of him here!

I attempted a render of both the twins sometime back and also struggles with the golden skin....yours is FAR better than what I attempted, nice piece!

Wasn't easy to get a good golden skin ^^

I ended up using the Metal Flakes setting of the skin shader to achieve the effect, after i took a few tries to find the right settings i ended up with this result.

They are.
I thought i'd change it in postwork in Photoshop, but it didn't really work as well as i thought.

If i do another render with him, i'll need to change the texture of the eyes before rendering ^^

It is just a detail, I think. Do you plan to make his brother Caramon, or maybe you have already made it ?

Haven't done Caramon yet, but I plan on doing more Dragonlance pictures, Caramon will most likely be one of them
