Description
I am really fond of this guy-- but then I always enjoy working with . Another voice box with a zipper Zevran (yeah... all those belts and shirts have velcro worked in so you can get to his back and open him up and change the voice clip on him ^_^;I had to do a lot of new things on this doll--I reworked how I did the fastenings, so I think he'll be a lot smoother and easier to open up and close again. Then there is the fact this guy has all sorts of hardware and details-- ponte shirt with crisscrossing ribbon details, worn pleather pants, fleece for the rest of his clothes, removable belts, a functional pouch with an actual seashell on it, Sculpey work for the 'skeleton key' on his belt, actual little stoppered bottles Fritti tracked down, painted to appear to have different colors of liquid and wrapped with tissue paper and stitched down to the removable bandoleer, and the metal studs. Oh my...I thought they would be as simple to attach as brads-- this was not so. Even so I was delighted when my sister found a store local that sold them very reasonably, and I learned a lot in the trial-and-error process that led to his bracers and gloves. All in all, I am so very happy how he came out, and I'm really glad I got the chance to work on him. I learned a lot!
Most of his construction information is above, and he is about 14" tall.

Heheh well all joking aside, in truth the shot with him upside down especially makes them look longer than they are due to camera perspective. ; )

I think the shots of him in normal position are showing too that he has really long legs ^-^ I really like this kind of proportions. The body has the perfect size for his head ^-^b

Aw, thanks! I've puzzled a lot about head-to-body ratios and sometimes it's really hard for me to tell how big a head will be until it's stuffed depending on the material it's made from, so I'm glad they seem to match well. ^_^;;

I know this problem. I crochet something, the size is perfect, I stuff it and it's too big
But you can be sure, all of your plushies look very harmonic ^_^b

But thinking about his hair now...I think I would like him to have a braid Of course only if that's doable.

This is GORGEOUS! You always have such an eye for details! I really love his hair, and every bit of the outfit!
I've been meaning to ask you too, I've organized a small plush exchange Secret Santa with a few other plush makers...just curious if you want to join us? I'll be assigning people on the 15th, I'm just getting everyone's addresses and their lists of what plush they'd like made for them

Aw, thank you! The details always daunt me at first, but as I complete them it makes me so happy. ^_^ I actually did a Hetalia secret santa doll last year and really had fun-- I'd very much like to do something like that again but I've been really busy lately and I'm worried I wouldn't be able to complete such a doll on time..maybe if it was okay to do a simpler pattern..what sorts of guidelines/standards are you figuring? : D

Aw that's so cool! There's some more details here if it helps: [link] I'm trying to be sure anyone who participates gives a varied list so they have both simple and complex ideas for their plush maker to choose from

Ohh, shipping deadline is in February..? That I should be OK to do, then..! I guess sign me up! Hmm so I have to think of three possibilities, probably at least one human and animal, huh?

Okay I'll add you! 3 minimum is good, you can list more options if you want to! And at least one animal and one humanoid character is great!

Oh no I'm so sorry, I must have missed your list of characters somehow T_T I went through my notes and I couldn't find anything about what ones you requested. You were on the list of those who had shown interest though, and I'm sorry that I somehow didn't follow up when I didn't see a list from you. My deepest apologies, that's my fault.
