Veeeery sketchy, but this is my final pic for Near's OP Challenge--NearxMatt! (well, or it could be MattxNear...you can't really tell here. 
) 
Matt's goggle-wearing ways are rubbing off on Near, LOL.Drawn super-fast (fifteen minutes, maybe...?) with 0.5mm mechanical pencil and no erasing at all since I seem to have misplaced my art eraser.
I plan to replace this sketch with a cleaner inked version as soon as I ink it.I know not everybody likes NearxMatt, but I think their personalities compliment each other nicely. They're the types who could sit in silence and it would be a companionable silence...you know?
Near and Matt are from the anime/manga Death Note, and belong to Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.

Thanks, but my schedule's full-up right now -- full-time college, working several jobs, and I have a bunch of art commissions on my to-do list already.
No offense, but being put in a YouTube video isn't that huge a prize for people -- with how people snatch artwork off of the internet for their musics video slideshows these days, many artists are probably already on YouTube and might not want to be.

Hehe I think it's because there isn't so much...explosiveness in their relationship as there might be between Near and Mello.

I guess because I'm familiar with the story, the only thing that pops in my head is, "In Charge". I loved the scene where Matt hands over his goggles (he seemed so...vulnerable), and Near liked them. This also reminded me of another picture. I think it's called Near Sighted, and in it, Near wears glasses, and Mello freaks out because he didn't know.

Yeah, you really delivered that feeling during the scene. Plus, it was a bonding moment for the characters, and that's always nice to see.
Yeah, Miyanushi is one of my favorite artists on deviant, and one of the first that I started watching. I do agree, I wish for some L or Matt pics, but it's unlikely.

This pairing really does make sense! Near would sit there with his dice towers or robots or whatever, and Matt would play his video games, and they wouldn't feel the need to talk every few seconds. xD
I so love their pose. It's like they could be friends and a couple at the same time.
