"The moment I saw his face is the moment I thought o' Droopy the cartoon character. I almost choked on my drink from how hard I laughed. This is the coolest cat photograph I hath ever seen."

I think there's something wrong with the Exif. 55mm?!
Do you even have such "wide" lens??
(Just to clear things up, since you're on a body with x1.6 crop factor, 55mm ~ 90mm whereas for me right now, even 50mm on full frame is a telephoto )

Yup.....I own a 17-55 F2.8
And I can imagine you're surprised...since this isn't exactly my kind of lens...
I won it in a contest and I thought I might use it as well

Haha, good stuff!
So what's your gear status? Last I remember you didn't have too many fancy things - just the 100mm macro and the 70-300 IS

The Kenko ones, all 68mm and then you get macro abilities on the 300/4
Also, get the new 100mm

The new 100mm costs around a 1000 euros......it's way too expensive.
I might buy some kenko/ soligor extension tubes.....
Oh and I forgot to mention I bought a1.4x converter (Canon)

Oh, good stuff
Well. Sell the old 100mm and your 350D and maybe the 17-55mm too, or maybe just the 100 and the 17-55...

thrumyeye In reply to Nesi [2009-09-28 18:11:48 +0000 UTC]
Ha, I'd rather sell my 50D than my old and faithful 350D!
And why would I give up my perfectly sharp 100mm for an expensive new one....just for the IS?

Nesi In reply to thrumyeye [2009-09-28 19:36:22 +0000 UTC]
Well, also for L quality and all the other razzamataz...
And yeah, well. I'd sell the 50D and buy 40D anyway. Or maybe you should sell the 50D and the 17-55 and get 7D

i think cats are very elegant creatures..But in greece they are normally mangy creatures, unless they are taken care of.. this picture is the pretty version of our many cats... <3
