Description
A few days ago I met someone in the train and we had a nice talk.He told me he had seen waxwings today and I must admit I was a bit jealous.
The next day I planned to stay at home because someone would come by to paint my house.
And then the painter called: he couldn't make it, since he caught the flew.
Which left me with a whole day to fill and i decided to try my luck and go search for some waxwings...
And guess what: I found them!
Unfortunately the weather wasn't all that (grey & windy) and they were a bit far away for my 420mm. So no high quality pictures...
But hey....I saw my first Waxwings, how cool is that?!

You're lucky ! Those birds are beautiful, I saw them only once but I remember all the excitment when I made my brother stop the car thinking it might be a waxwing that I saw, and then realizing there were dozens of them !

We have birds called waxings or waxies not sure if they are the same, but they bearly reach two inch they are green with white circles around thier eyes.

I saw about twenty.......the come in groups.....sometimes even 70 ore more...

five of them at least, one is hiding under the fourth one. But thay usually travel by groups
