Description
A Team Fortress 2 theme for the iPod touch and iPhone*...Includes summerboard theme, carrier images, and battery images!
(Requires a jailbroken iPod touch.)
*Some iPhone icons are probably missing.
Note: If you're running winterboard on newer firmware, just copy/paste and rename some icon .pngs to cover unsupported apps as a stopgap measure.
Another note: For 2.x firmware, in order to get the battery working, you'll have to make a folder called "Bundles" inside the TF2 Theme folder, and in that folder make one called "com.apple.springboard", then put the BatteryBG_x.pngs in that folder.

I'm just so afraid to jailbreak anything of mine. Is there any way possible, even if it's costs me something, to get this installed without a jailbreak?

I have to say, I haven't been on DA in a while, since I finished my studentship and became employed as a Graphic Designer. But I dragged out the "lost password" function expressly to tell you this:
I have been searching all night for a good theme that I wouldn't have to modify a billion things on. I quickly decided that all that matters is the icons, and I can revamp the rest.
This is the best set of Icons for the iTouch I have come across. They look almost 2 tone lithographic or screen printed.

You should be thanking Valve instead for making such highly stylized art for a highly stylized video game, I only thought of putting them together to make a theme.

You didn't per chance make this one as well? [link] I saw that one the other day and it inspired me to make my own tf2 theme for my Sony Ericsson as all the other tf2 themes that would work on my phone looked kinda lame... I wish I had an iphone just so I could use your theme

Ah really? Well I didn't want to say it, but I really didn't like that other theme. It's part of the reason why I decided to make my own, so I could make it better. Yours is like the better version I had in mind

You'll need a jailbroken (hacked) iPod touch, first and foremost. There are certain risks involved with jailbreaking it, and doing so will probably void your warranty. If you do decide to hack it, you'll need to get the Summerboard application after its been successfully jailbroken. After that, my included readme *should* show you how to implement the theme.
Remember, do this at your own risk!

Well, you can only get Summerboard/Winterboard after your touch is jailbroken, so you'll need to jailbreak it first. When it's been successfully jailbroken your touch will have a 3rd party app downloader (Cydia on newer firmware, or Installer), and you use that to get Summer/Winterboard on your touch.
Honestly though, I'm not very good at explaining the technical stuff...just refer to ipod touch fan sites like ipodtouchfans.com
