Trek sniffed the air as he padded along the forest path. The smell of the earth was pungent. Inhaling deeply, he printed the scent in his memory, for it was to his liking.
Miller ran up from behind Trek. "Hey Trek, let's have a race!" Miller exclaimed. "I really don't want to," Trek replied. Mid Night padded up from behind Miller and said, "Mills pestered me enough so that i agreed. C'mon, it'll be fun!"
Trek eyed the two wolves who were staring at him pleadingly.
"Oh, alright," he sighed, giving in. The other two yelped and jumped around with joy. "Let's go!" Miller barked, dashing forward with Mid Night on his heels.
"Hey, that's not fair!" Trek exclaimed. He ran at a full sprint and caught up with them. He was slightly ahead of them.
"Even when...you get a...headstart, you...can't...beat me!" Trek panted.
"Not if i can help it!" Miller replied, "C'mon, Mid!" As if reading his mind, Mid Night nodded and together they bumped into Trek with their rear ends.
"Hey-!" Trek cried as he stumbled and fell. "That's cheating!" he yelped as the other two raced ahead.
"Cheaters are winners!" Miller cried as he and Mid Night raced ahead.
Trek shook his head and grinned, staring off into the brush where his friends had disappeared.

okay, it was actually just a random pose, but i still came up with a story line. 8D

oh MAN i totally underpriced myself for this! i told Night Run it would be $8 when it should be, like...$15 (according to my old prices, if she had comissioned me recently it would've been $19)
i'm so mad at myself, but it'd be rude to ask her to pay more for my mistake...er....right? D:

ah, i had fun with this anyway.
