The colors reminded me of sea mist...
This is an amazing thing. I painted this with q-tips and crayola marker! i just wet the q-tip a little and pushed the marker down (hard) on another piece of paper, rubbed the q-tip on it, and painted. I also applied the marker to the drawing and rubbed over it with a wet q-tip to get the colour to spread. And it only took me an hour. With prismacolor it would have taken me AT LEAST two hours, what with all the shading. the water helped shade very quickly and i love this concept.
i don't remember where i heard the q-tip concept but it works beyond belief. imagine how little time it would take to colour a detailed work!
you should try it-it's really great.
although i did use a lot of q-tips. and my fingers are stained blue.
