Build: Thickly muscled, with a slightly too-short spine but well-crafted legs. His ears are surprisingly large for his head. He has a strong, sloping shoulder and a large apple rump.
Temperament: Birb is the embodiment of everything you would think a thoroughbred stallion would be--feisty, mischievous, and temperamental, he keeps his handlers on their toes and loves to challenge them on a daily basis. The world is his stage and he must perform. Birb isn't mean in his endeavors, however, and seems to love children. It's like he understands that the youth of any species aren't smart enough to fear his hooves yet, and so he tiptoes daintily around them.

Introduction excerpt: "Where Halo unloaded gently, delicately, Birb the Second clambered out like a clumsy ox with a sharp, ear-piercing trumpet as if to declare to the world that yes, he had arrived!
Watching nearby, Mira let out a loud guffaw and clapped a hand over her mouth to contain her mirth. Birb’s new groom grabbed his lead and led him around in a small circle to keep him occupied. The colt immediately began to strut, high-stepping and skipping every few steps, ensuring that everyone nearby noticed him. Halo was clearly a saint, for the buckskin colt merely shifted his weight off his injured side and went into nap mode right there on the concrete.
Inseparable, their owners had said. Together since they were weanlings. Birb had been the self-proclaimed band stallion of their merry little weanling band while Halo had trailed behind him as the mediator, soothing ruffled feathers whenever Birb got too big for his britches."

Birb The Second joined the BCC crew via the Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Center as a companion to stablemate Halo. He was originally purchased as a racing prospect but never got his feet on the ground. Instead, his focus was redirected toward showjumping--specifically, with kids.
