Temperament: Though possessing solid El Diablo influence in his male-tail line, Tomb has none of the temper of his forefathers before him. He is generally mild-mannered and of average intelligence. He has an affection for the barn cats as well and can often be seen with one sleeping on his rump or curled up in the corner of his stall.

Background Story

Tomb was born with extremely crooked back legs and was deemed a lost cause very early on. After a lot of time and therapy, his legs straightened out. He was sold as a non-racing prospect as a three year old, but was quickly purchased by Harkness's former owner. With newly-straight legs, the siren call of his racetrack potential was too great to resist, and he was sent into training shortly thereafter. He broke his maiden at four and quickly made a name for himself as a track underdog.

He raced for 3 years and secured a couple of black type wins as a miler before being retired to stud at the end of his six year old campaign.
