It was a beautiful afternoon in the Pride Lands and… Everything wasn't going so great for for Uzani at least. Zuri's two brats, Mzuri and Nzuri where following poor Uzani all over the savannah while Shujaa was in the lead for their patrol. He chuckled as the sisters kept pestering Uzani to go on a girls day away with them as her 'beautiful appearance' was looking a little rough around the edges. Unfortunately unlike her mother, Tiifu. Uzani didn't inherit the complete obsession that keeping up her appearance she and Zuri had as cubs but she does keep up a good wash and grooming it just isn't a top priority for her as it seems to be for Nzuri and Mzuri. As Uzani heard Shujaa chuckling to himself Uzani automatically shoots a nasty glare at her brother.

Uzani: "I heard that, Shujaa! Don't think I'm some prissy little lioness unlike those two."

Shujaa: "I never said a word dearest sister."

Shujaa swings his head over his shoulder to look at Uzani with a huge smirk plastered on his lips. But just as Uzani is about to say something her face as well as Nzuri and Mzuri's faces turn to ones of pure terror.

Shujaa: "What…? What's wrong?"

Nuri: "L-L-L…"

Mzuri: "LEOPARD!"

Shujaa: "HUH!? Leopard!"

Shujaa turns back around and looks up to see a huge a leopard with pricing and wild bright green eyes staring back at him as the leopard is about to strike Shujaa in the face with its huge paw. Uzani jumps to her brother's rescue as she growls at the spotted intruder as it starts to give chase on her. Being the Fastest Member of the future Lion Guard had it's advantages but Uzani could only keep this up for so long. She wasn't a cheetah unlike her mentor, Fuli of her father, Kion's Lion Guard. Uzani had to stand and fight to protect her brother and her fellow pride sisters despite disliking those two. They where after all Zuri's daughters and Uzani knew full well that if she lost one or both of them she would be beyond devastated. It did however happen a long time ago to her grandparents, Simba and Nala when they lost their first son at the claws of the crazed lioness, Zira. Uzani was getting tired of running but she had just enough strength left to turn and fight. The leopard was preparing to pounce as Uzani stands her ground.

Uzani: "You want me tree hugger! Well come and get me!"

The leopard charged as Uzani stood preparing to pounce as well. In a moment of fury, Uzani jumped onto the leopard her claws out and she tries to slash at its eyes while the leopard yowled in pain, slashing at her right eye and ear. Uzani was able to leave a few scars of her own it soon wouldn't forget. The leopard managed to throw her off. She flipped into the air and crashed against the ground with a hard smack, the leopard then runs away back into the tall grass. As Shujaa hurries to his sister's side Uzani's vison is becoming blurry as she heard her brother tell the two sisters to go back to Pride Rock to fetch the Lion Guard their aunt and their parents before going unconscious from her pain.
