Today is Chiku's first day of training for the future of her Lion Guard under the new mentorship of Vitani. Kion already imformed Vitani of what to teach their neice before he left on his journey to get his scarred eye healed at the Tree of Life. Chiku sits on top of Pride Rock looking over the animals going about their lives. She hears footsteps approching as she looks behind her to see her parents, Queen Kiara and King Kovu both sit infront of their daughter. Chiku smiles at her parents as she rushes towards Kiara and nuzzles her mother. Kiara bends down and licks Chiku behind the ears.

Chiku: "You don't need to do that anymore, Mom. I'm not an infant anymore."

Kiara: "You'll always be my baby girl, Chiku. No motter how old you may get.'

Kovu: "Besides you have a big day ahead of you."

Chiku: "Nothing much has changed, Dad. All that has really changed is that Uncle Kion won't be my teacher for awhile and Aunt Vitani will."

Kiara: "What your father means my dear is that your Aunt Vitani won't know where you and Uncle Kion left off in your lessons. You'll have to help her and show her what the two of you had been working on. Kion has already filled Vitani in on what to expect with your training but for the next couple of weeks you'll have to fill in Vitani and I'm sure you two will be in sync in no time!"

Chiku: "I'll do what I can, Mom. I'll see you both later."

Chiku bounds down the rocky slope of Pride Rock and takes off to meet up with her aunt as her parents watch their daughter from the ledge as her figure gets smaller and smaller until she disappers fom sight completely.
