On one of Shujaa and Uzani's visits to The Tree of Life and it's many surrounding habitats their mother, Tiifu decided to accompany her cubs on this trip because she was just as eager to meet Kion's new daughter just as much as they where and since Kiara was off to meet her new niece she asked Zuri and Tiifu both to accompany her since they each had their own personal reasons for being at the tree anyway and as much as Chiku and Kibo wanted to go and meet their new little cousin they had to stay behind for their Lion Guard duties and training with Vitani. When Tiifu and Kion met up the king had told his former mate of the liger cub named Baraka they recently adopted. Tiifu was saddened to hear this news of what happened to his real parents but was thankful at the same time Baraka would be well taken care of but Kion asked that Tiifu keep this cub a secret from Shujaa and Uzani for now since he was going to introduce them a little later. While Kion decided to spend some time with hos two youngest cubs Shujaa and Uzani sat by the grave of their little brother who was was born as a stillborn cub. Tiifu had a bundle of a mix of Orchids and Bellflowers in her jaws. She stepped in between her two cubs and placed flowers on the small heap of earth.

Rani: "That's very sweet of you, Tiifu to leave flowers for my son."

As the three Pride Land lions turned to look at Rani with her two oldest cubs, Raja and Sawa they too had flowers in their jaws to place on the cub's grave.

Tiifu: "Being a mother myself. I couldn't let any grave of a mother's cub go ignored... Even your own, Your Highness."

Rani: "I appreciate it really means a lot to both Kion and I."

Tiifu didn't say anything that response. Her green eyes than shifted at the ground as she let her ears droop. Oh how Tiifu still wished Kion and her where still together sometimes but she had come to accept that Rani was his mate now and she was living a happy life in the Pride Lands just being a mother to the cubs she and Kion both gave life to.

Rani: "Kion once told me of your history I'll have you know."

This brought Tiifu out of her thoughts as she looked at the reddish brown queen surprised at what she had just said.

Rani: "That the females of your family every skipped generation are known to have trouble reproducing cubs."

Tiifu: "Yes... My grandmother was only able to have my mother and but only just by a struggle my own mother had no problems and she was able to give birth to my brother and myself. Meanwhile, I'm the same way and I was very lucky to have had both Shujaa and Uzani. They're my world and everything. I don't know what I would do if I lost one or both of them."

Rani: "They're blessings and you should be very grateful you have such two wonderful cubs in your lives."

Tiifu: "Believe me, Queen Rani. I am proud of my cubs and just look at how well your older ones get on well with mine."

Rani: "I think we did well for raising these four as the best we can and I have no doubt that they will make excellent role models to both of my young ones."

Tiifu: "Baraka and Shani will grow into fine young lions someday and as mothers that's the reward we get. Seeing them go out into the world to live their own lives and make their own choices."

Rani: "You're right, Tiifu as nice as it is to watch them grow and tech them right from wrong. It's rewarding enough to see what members to society they will be and as queen I couldn't be anymore proud than I am now."

As the two mothers watched on as their cubs began to talk amongst themselves Tiifu couldn't help but wonder maybe it was possible to be friends with Rani hence it may be awkward despite Kion being her ex-mate and all but Tiifu and Rani had been getting to know each other well these past couple of days and the mothers seemed to be on good terms and Tiifu was ready to open up more to the brown lioness about her past and her personal history she only hoped Rani felt the same way.

Raja, Sawa, and Baraka all belong to I only have his permission to use his characters in my stories.
