This is actually one of my more favorite scenes from "Tarzan" which is where I got this whole idea of Vitani not being accepted by Simba thing. I did this scene before the previous two other parts a while ago. I did see two beautiful videos on YouTube dedicated to Nala and Vitani as mother and daughter with the song "We Are One" sung by a woman and the other video with just Nala and Kiara. Later that evening, Vitani sat all by herself a fair distance from Pride Rock looking at the moon above the savannah. As Vitani looks into the stream, she sees Scar's reflection rather than her own staring back at her. Vitani unsheathes her claws and starts slapping the water viciously destroying the image of Scar as the water subsides she sees her face and pelt are now covered with mud and Vitani soon saw her own reflection was now looking back at her Nala hovered above her and she turns to look at her mother.

Nala: "Vitani, what are you doing?"

Vitani: "Why am I so different, Mom?"

Nala: (Smiles and snatces her up to give her a bath.) "Because you're covered with mud, that's why." (She sit on the ground and starts to lick Vitani all over.)

Vitani: "No! Simba said I didn't belong in the--"

Nala: (Licks Vitani's face.) "Close your mouth."

Vitani: "Simba said I don't belong in the Pride."

Nala: (Continues washing Vitani as she starts to squirm in between Nala's paws) "Never mind what Simba said. Now hold still."

Vitani: (Was able to get free of Nala's grip as she hisses at her.) "But look at me!"

Nala: (Locks eyes with Vitani and sighs.) "I am, Vitani." (She slowly approaches and puts one of her front paws on Vitani's back then licks the remaining mud away.) "And do you know what I see? I see two eyes, like mine, and a nose, somewhere. Ah, here. Two ears, and let's see, what else?"

Vitani: "Four feet?"

Nala: "That's right."

Vitani: (She places her front paws on top of Nala's giant paws as she looks at them and sighs.)

Nala: (Sighs and pulls Vitani into a hug.) "Close your eyes. Now forget what you see. What do you feel?"

Vitani: (Closes her eyes and felt her own heartbeat.) "My heart."

Nala: "Come here." (Pushes Vitani near her chest.)

Vitani: "Your heart."

Nala: "See, we're exactly the same.(Vitani hugs Nala and breaths in her mother's sweet scent feeling nothing but comfort. Nala sighs and looks back towards Pride Rock where Simba was surveying his Kingdom from the very edge. Nala looks back at Vitani.) "Simba just can't see that."

Vitani: " I'll make him see it. I'll be the best lion ever!"

Nala: "Oh, I bet you will!"
