I learned that an early script for Iron Man would reveal that Tony Stark created the tentacles Dr. Octavius uses. Β And Tobey Maguire would have had a cameo in The Incredible Hulk as Peter Parker.

Well in this alternate version, we never had the Homecoming reboot. In this timeline Peter and MJ hook back up after the end of Spider-man 3. However Eddy Brock and the Venom Symbiote survived their fight with Spidey and New Goblin. After recovering from the explosion, Eddy trains himself hard, lifting weights and running either on a treadmill or on the streets of New York, and he does it without the symbiote's aid, so when he puts it back on he'll be that much stronger. He also obsesses over Spider-man and Peter Parker, letting his anger and hatred grow. During this time Peter is hired by Tony Stark, which gives him a better income and living conditions although he still freelances for the Daily Bugle to get more spending money. Eventually Venom returns, torments Peter, Tony figures out Peter is Spider-man, gives him the Homecoming suit and they defeat Venom and lock him away. Next movie he fights the Lizard and the one after that Carnage.
