Just taking a break from inking my usual work to practice some other kind of inking. I like the American style sometimes, but for me, its more messy and takes waay longer to do than my usual manga inking...but I like playin' with the technique...I don't particulary fancy the gangly shark mouthed grinning freak type of Joker. I don't think his face is stuck in a permenent grin, his lips can relax and his body is not scrawny (he needs a little muscle to put up with Batman after all). Who knows if he does have a bat tattoo though...
Anyway, hope you like--I might color it, but I'm too lazy and busy with a few other projects (commissions and INCUBUS).

At first I was a little confused because his lips weren't shaded to look like he had red on them, but I can understand that he doesn't always have the red lips. They could just be painted.

i love the intense sexuality i'd love to see more like a full bodied image. i'd like to see how you'd interpret the joker's fashion as well as sex appeal maybe harley or robin thrown somewhere in there but :3 bueno lovoro!

Wowwww he's beautiful. I always thought he was portrayed as more of a wimp than we give him credit for...until Heath Ledger's performance, I never thought of him as a really dynamic character either. And let me tell you, besides the art of Joker from The Dark Knight, THIS has GOT to be the best portrayal of him I've ever seen. Awesome job!

the western comic style looks kinda hard to do, you really pull it off well though

He's gorgeous, but he's still twisted. I like your ideas.. (Y'know, especially the Battoo.) We shouldn't be afraid to bend characters for our own aesthetic enjoyment.

Yaoi or not, this is still very well done.
I like how it's a more modern, realistic version of the Joker... and you've managed to keep the character identifiable.
The Batman tattoo is a great addition also. It sort of personifies the Joker's insanity and self-destructive ways (does that man any sense?).
