Finally! This is the sketch I was meaning to post since March this year!

I have posted here a quick sketch I did of Brent Spiner while he was signing autographes at Mega-Con in Florida in March 2010 (and theres me lookin' all fangurly >///<)

I was so nervous meeting him!

I did the doodle first, and then went to see him again because I decided to show the sketch to him and ask if he could sign it for me. And I also requested if he could add a little doodle of his own (which he did the head doodle) and I blurted out it was cute, and almost said it was the kind of thing you'd see on a refridgerator (caught myself in time, but I should have said it anyway XD).

I dunno if I'll ever run into him again, but I got this little sketch safe in a UV protected polybag. >///<
It be nice to see him again, but despite that excitement I had talking to him, I did not like that 'barrior' I kept feeling.

What I mean is, *Example* Have you ever tried to stir a big pot of hot food or cooked over a grill outside, and you gotta stir the food, but you keep your arm outstretched and your body leaning away from the grill to do your best to avoid the heat/steam?

That's kind of how I felt the entire time talking to him.
He wasn't in a bad mood, or snobbish, its not like that, he was very nice--- it was a feeling of 'unapproachable'------ not him, I felt it from MY side.

Being unsociable and suffering anxiety attacks often, I was not ready at all to meet him, but I forced myself anyway, and I did not like how uncomfortable I was despite the elation I felt afterwards.

Does that make sense?

Anyway, even if I had another opportunity to meet him again, I'd probably shamefully drag myself overthere to say hello. XD

Being a geeky fangurl so sucks for me....

Oh yeah! I forgot to add, I got to meet him on my birthday XD

Oh! I first wanted to tell him my 'pen name' Yayoi Neko, but I just knew he was gonna be like, "What? Ya--wha? How do you spell that?" so I just resorted to my 'maiden' name to make it easier for him (and for myself). >_<;;
