ENGLISH : THE PRINCIPALITY SAXE-COBURG
Saxe-Coburg was a German principality that was counted as part of Thuringia. It was located in the borderland to Franconia and had the city of the same name, Coburg, as its capital. In 1353, the formerly independent dominion of the House of Henneberg-Schleusingen fell to the Saxon rulers. In 1596 Saxe-Coburg was separated frality in 1680, after attempts to rule it togetherom Saxe-Eisenach and henceforth ruled separately. Saxe-Coburg became a completely independent princip with other Thuringian-Saxon states failed. In 1918, Saxony-Coburg was finally dissolved and became part of Bavaria.
Before Saxony-Coburg finally became "independent", it also had, until about 1680, the so-called "Meininger Oberland". However, this is material for its own map. I am also currently working on a small ancient history scenario in which parts of Saxe-Coburg were Anglicized.

DEUTSCH : DAS FÜRSTENTUM SACHSEN-KOBURG

Sachsen-Coburg war ein deutsches Fürstentum, das zu Thüringen gezählt wurde. Es befand sich im Grenzgebiet zu Franken und hatte die gleichnamige Stadt Coburg als Hauptstadt. Im Jahr 1353 fiel die ehemals unabhängige Herrschaft des Hauses Henneberg-Schleusingen an die sächsischen Herrscher. 1596 wurde Sachsen-Coburg von Sachsen-Eisenach abgetrennt und fortan getrennt regiert. Sachsen-Coburg wurde 1680 ein völlig unabhängiges Fürstentum, nachdem Versuche gescheitert waren, es gemeinsam mit anderen thüringisch-sächsischen Staaten zu regieren. Im Jahr 1918 wurde Sachsen-Coburg schließlich aufgelöst und kam zu Bayern.
Bevor Sachsen-Coburg endgültig "selbstständig" wurde, verfügte es auch noch, bis etwa 1680, über das sogenannte "Meininger Oberland". Dieses ist allerdings Stoff für eine eigene Landkarte. Ich arbeite zur Zeit zudem an einem kleinen Althistory Szenario, in dem Teile von Sachsen-Koburg anglikanisiert wurden.
