Description
Mwehehe I'm sorry for spamming you guys, I'm just testing some stuff with a raw environnement! xDOn one frame you can see that the membrane pass through the arm : that's normal, I forgot to activate the collisions with the input mesh before rendering, but well, sorry about this... >w<
So yeah, what are your thoughts about this? I mean, the animation itself (I'm learnin' ! )
Here's a behind the scene with... Well almost all the controlers, that you get an idea xD :

May I ask how you did the wing dynamics? I know there are different methods in Maya.

Ok thanks, that's the same way I use. I Know there's more ways of doing the wings aswell.

Sure,
I used an input/output mesh.
The input mesh is a raw model made of several separated parts, the membranes are one sided and nCloth dynamics, and they are constrained to the rest of the mesh via a dynamic constraint. All that stuff is wraped onto the output mesh wich is the mesh that is visible in the renderings.

And they said he couldn't sit down with the rig they made, but here you are making him sit with your rig and you don't even work for DreamWorks
It looks great man! Once your done with the animations you work on try and selecting a few controls (on the ears for example) and go to the graph editor and try offsetting the X rotation......or is it the Y...... Whatever it is, just drag some of them key frames out a lil to delay them and it makes a crazy difference in the movement. I love how much control you gave him. The claws on his arms pushing him up look really good, I can't stop looking at them. You gotta teach me a advanced rigging course :]

Hey thanks man!
And thank you for the tip! This is a great idea !
Oh well thanks again, I've changed the rig to another version with an improved polyflow on the chara, and more "details" on the rig. Well, I would gladly lol, but seeing what you did, you probably are a nice rigger hehe!
I was planning on trying to do rigging tutorials someday, if this can help some people...
I am glad that you like my work!

Thank you for the complement but my rigs don't go as in depth as yours. I never learned nothing about setting up a interface for the controls or nothing like that, I wouldn't even know where to start. I can do some expressions and set driven keys but thats about it lol.
If you ever do any rigging tutorials I defiantly would check it out and try to come up on some of your techniques, you get some really nice results, and your model is beautiful btw.

Well, then if I do some tutorials, I won't forget to let you know.
And thank you for the compliment about the model.
