I have no idea why I like this couple so much. It all started when I had an OC pairing for Static (in a fanfic that I never wrote) & eventually, she turned into Raven. I guess they do just look good together.

i'm curious though... i've seen a few people pair up static and raven and it confuses me. i have nothing against it, i just have no idea how it came about XD; then again, i haven't been keeping up with the comics very well. do they get along particularly well there or something?

oic. like i said, my question was out of pure curiosity, not some kind of... attack. you don't need to DEFEND your pairing, i'm just wondering--because i've seen it here, there, and everywhere--if there was a particular instance in the comics that triggered it or something. i mean, one of the things i ship in another fandom got started because character A mentioned character B in his blog and didn't get B's name wrong, as many other characters in that series do

And well, at last, you still didn't answer my question in my first comment. Why to love a character or couple even need reasons? Cultural gap between east and west? Maybe. It's just like things we call ηΌε and ζ δΊΊηΌιεΊθ₯Ώζ½. This doesn't need to have a reason. In English you also say "destiny", "love at first sight", "love is blind" etc. Right?
