That's why I love Padme; she loved Anakin unconditionally and saw the good in him when no one else could. Part of me likes to think her spirit helped guild Luke to save his father. Anakin was right, she was an angel. It also shows how much Luke was like his mother.

I like this piece. You really captured luke's sadness and relief during vader's death.

This piece has wonderful lighting and coloring techniques. But I do notice some errors in proportions. I do feel that Vader is much too small compared to Luke. You have to keep in mind, Luke is quite the tiny fellow and Vader is something like 6'8 feet tall.
Everything else looks pretty great though.

If I have my statues right, the original was like that, so Luke's supposed toΒ be something like eight feet tall.

Well if this is going by the book's standards, yes... but the models are definitely posed after the actors from the movies which is why I felt the proportions were off.

still, an eight foot woman isn't normal. She was made larger than life so she could be able to hold him in that position, not because she was eight feet in real life or portrayed as being eight feet. If this artist made Luke average sized, it would be the same issue. Just physically impossible.Β ButΒ I think theΒ original workΒ was less noticeable than this.

This works both as a parody of the Pieta and as a very emotional fanart piece on its own. Nice! Vader's death was so sad/bittersweet.
