Description Madagascar hissing cockroach. I've never heard that these can be white, so I guess it's an albino, but I may be wrong there... Any way, the white one was really pretty.

The white one just molted, shed it's skin so to speak. In a few hours the new soft white layer will darken and harden up.

I have about a hundred of these guys. My husband brought home six a few years ago cause he thinks they're cute.

Thanks for letting me know! They reproduce like hell, don't they... I think they're quite interesting, but I wouldn't want them as pets.

I've grown strangely attached to the vile little things. I keep trying to give away the babies but no one seems to want them.

Thanks a lot! I've been told they are this white right after they've shed their skin (there's an empty skin right next to the white one.) Doesn't make them less pretty, though

Sehr schönes Foto, das Zusammenspiel aus hell und dunkel gefällt mir
Achja falls es dich interessiert: vermutlich gibt es auch bei denen Albinos, aber ich kann auf jeden fall sicher sagen, dass sie kurz nach der Häutung schneeweiß sind (und wenn ich micht nicht irre, dann ist rechts die leere Hülle zu sehen)
