Description
It always begins with a freshly molted female. She waits at the top of the enclosure on the highest stick, as a male patiently awaits her wings to unfurl and for her to eat her shed skin. He taps her gently with his antennae, sitting sometimes for hours in one position, until she's ready to mate. Photo taken 2 years ago when I kept hundreds of these guys.Prepare for an influx of molted roach photos

I have a lot of pet bugs, but only two species of roaches: Blaberus craniifer and Nauphoeta cinerea β itβs very easy to care for these little guys!

It's a fairly common hobby. Some rare roaches are worth hundreds in the hobby. They're fascinating to observe

That's usually the first thing people say when they come over haha. I keep reptiles, insects, amphibians, etc.
