tigaer-design.com proudly presents: THE CHASE IITHE CHASE I: [link]
D³SCR!PTION
Actually a quickie i did a few weeks ago. I felt like creating a similar pic to my first chase painting. This time a different style and environment. Main focus in this project was composition and a try to create a sense for speed. Since the cam here is following these flyers. Maybe this 'chase' thing will become a series...
TECHN!CAL DETA!LS
I played with lots of elements to learn something more about composition. I removed most of these elements since they kind of disturbed the flow of the pic. Which means most of my tries, to create a ticky compo, were not too successful. Yes you're absolutely right. The quality of that painting is not the best. I wanted to go for a dirty concept arty like look in this one. So don't look for flaws in that painting... just let your eye and brain complete the loose parts.

Also bitte nicht böse nehmen.

No matter what you do, it never ceases to amaze me, by the sheer amount of details yo put into it.
this one's a stunner, too!

Very cool, just about perfect, a wonderful painting.
My only suggestion would be that the closer objects would blur more due to the speed and the farther ones would blur less (because their perspective positions are shifting less due to distance). Rediculously far away objects like planets (and horizon mountains to a lesser degree) would not blur forwards due to speed, the only modification in their looks should be from camera shakiness (if there is any). Hope that helps

Wow. It's a bit unfinished, but maybe this makes the charm of the picture, like reading a book, where you imagine the scenery, and the blur effect makes a great feeling of motion.

Very stunning. The chase is great, but the backdrop is the kicker. The sense of 'otherworldlyness' (is that even a word?) is brilliant. Well done!

Amazing, once again. You captured the speed really well! I love the blur effect... but then again everything about this pic. Looking forward to seeing more.

It all looks messy and although you were going for a dirty look, it doesnt look like its quite at the consistancy it should be. Stick to the basics before you move on to more advanced stuff. But yeah, its still quite nice.
(sorry, didnt mean to break the 'critique discouraged' rule)

I strongly disagree with ~Akhtar2 . It doesn't look messy at all.

Do I even need to remind you how amazing your work is? Well........ I'll do it anyway!
Great setup and detail! As always, I love it. It's such a great surreal feel to it as a lot of your other work does.
