Description
Adam arched a brow and and walked over to the tree Holt pointed to. The tree had a hollow about the size of his head. He peered inside into the darkness of the tree and what he saw almost made his heart stop. What he saw was a heart, with the veins going into the wood and to add to his surprise, was the faint thumbing sound.

Okay that was just a small part of the story that I'm writing. The idea for the painting came to me when I was trying to think of something how Holt, a vampire, could survive without drinking blood from another living creature. Thus the whole idea for this tree came to mind.

I'm not all that happy with it. I'll probably scrap it after a while.
