I-I-I think that I'm in total shock here! HOW do you reconcile the Turtle who went from pitying Ren for having Raph for his Master in the FIRST chapter (and felt sorry for him when Raph was stomping on him (Ren) on Page 20 of Chapter 1), to the seemingly cold-hearted, cruel one here?! *faints from shock* Talking so condescending to Raph here, and fully EXPECTING him TO cut Ren's throat for a lousy blood-sample, when ALL he's probably have to do is just ASK the kid for it?! What has HAPPENED to Donnie over the years?! Dear God, what has happened?!
Suddenly, I'm thankful that REN doesn't know about this. And I just pray to God that Raph ISN'T as cold-hearted as Donnie now seems to be. Even if Ren DOES piss him off occassionally, I can't believe that he's REALLY kill the poor kid!
Although I can't help but wonder WHY Donnie even WANTS a blood sample FROM rRen

When you think about it, Don's sarcastic reply to Raph's comment makes sense. In CHP1, you see Don fearing for Renoir's life when the poor newbie becomes Raph's disciple because he knows how dangerous and violent Raph is. He has compassion for Renoir.
Here in CHP3, he wants to be nasty to Raph so he shows him that he thinks Raph's dangerous and violent by agreeing with Raph's supposition (which is a rhethorical question). He is nasty to Raph. And Raph's the one who proposes the throat cutting comment, not Don. Don only uses his comment to tick him off. So Don has nothing against Renoir really.
So Don's feelings for Raph and Renoir are different but should make sense.

Hmmm, this is true, on ALL counts. I never thought of it that way.
And it's really good to know that Donnie has nothing against Ren. Maybe THEY can become friends.
And yes, his different feelings toward them DO make sense.
I STILL can't help but WONDER, though, just WHY Donnie wants a sample of Ren's blood? What's he up to? As they said in Alice In Wonderland, "Curiouser and curiouser".

Mmmm, this is true, on both counts. *pauses thoughtfully* I just wonder what that tiny bit of blood on that bandaid WILL tell him, though? Guess we'll just have to wait til Tiger reveals the results to find out, huh? And I can't wait to find out what they are!
