Description
When Shadow told Amy about a promise he made to her near the end of the story in Sonic Adventure 2, I thought it was really kind of him. Too bad it's the only time we see him interact with Amy...So I speculated and did something crazy. >U<

Great pose. Great emotion. Great tones. Very nicely done man. Not many fanartists make pics like this. I enjoy when people do do something bold. Only thing I don't like is the small very cluttered rain. It would be better if it was more dispersed. It doesn't need so much rain for such a simple picture.

I think the rain's a little dense because I used the 'add noise' option and then I made it look like rain with motion blur...
I think I'll put white spots manually before blurring next time.

Yeah check out my pic [link] I created a new brush the is basically a streak drop of rain. Then just did a layer of rain, changed the setting slightly, did another layer and so on. It makes it look more natural and gives a 3D atmosphere.

I think the rain effect might be improved by making the two look damper, though. Not sure how to go about that though. S'pose I need to go stand in the rain sometime and look.

Well, they do say that a picture is worth a thousand words. All you need is some kind of melancholy title and you have the makings of a Shadow/Amy story that would sweep the presses of Fanfiction.net. The rain does seem a bit thick, but I can see that your talent cannot be surpassed by just about everyone.

Very impressive. However I think the rain was alittle too heavy and it should come down from an angle. That would have given the image more effect. Never the less I like that image and you have unquestioned drawing tallents.

Its rather nice to see a picture where Shadow shows -emotion- especially to Amy. Perhaps not a lovey dovey pic, but at least this pic shows Shadow cares...and its captured beautifully here. Poor Amy...wonder what shes so sad about...

I love this pic. The emotion in it is just so well portrayed, and doesn't seem at all out-of-character for Shadow like I often see in fanart of him. Great job.

That's such a beautiful picture... ;_; I have to agree.... I think that, while Shadow has his serious side, he has a 'soft spot' for females. Not once, ever, in the entire game, had he ever lashed out at any of the female cast... he was always a gentleman, and accepted what they had to say. (Even Rouge managed to make him actually STOP and THINK... He looked so sad....)
I think, while Shadow still feels lost, that Maria's kindness will always remind him, everytime he sees a female... never to harm, nor hurt them... It's like Maria gave him a lesson on how to behave like a gentleman. No matter what their personality was, he never hurt them. Aww....
This composition is very nice, too. Subtle, with the rain effects, and enough to make it known that Shadow cares... despite his harsh personality...

I totally agree with the 2nd paragraph... I mean, he didn't try to hurt Rouge in that one scene o' SA2 when he discovered that she worked for the president. I also agree that he has a soft spot. He's so melencholy about Maria in that game. *sighs happily*
