Newgrounds is also a must for any platform. Only Cons I know of is you need to post works that you made and you can't delete rude comments. But it's a pretty fun and chilled place.

Honestly, I just made a huge journal stating my opinions...and the short of it is, while I'm not sure, I do like Discord for how I can filter people based on how much I trust them. But you cover that, and I'm at a big loss for where I want to go.

The 'Death Star' in the Room: Deviantart v EclipseSo everyone is talking about how the formatting for the upcoming "Eclipse" is totally broken, and many even protesting by "leaving Deviantart" entirely. Will *I* leave?! Possibly, since I'm not very active here to begin with...long-distant damage notwithstanding (you know who you are, watching from the shadows; makes me watch EVERYTHING I put, and feel that any mistake I share, I can't un-share). I gave this place a good try; even found my one ex through here. Heather, may our relationship rest in peace.
But, my gut is telling me, "This isn't where I belong." What do I mean? Well just look at who I am as a hardwired personality. I'm a writer, I'm a fighter (if "Hero Team" wasn't any kind of giveaway to that), and I want some hardcore adult content (which I think is a mostly underserved market, unless you count sites like Pornhub - come on, that site is no secret). But part of what I like about "social media" in general, is not the "memes" or other flavors of stupidity...it's the SOCIAL

I second RedMalow's suggestions.
ao3 is great for writers. The tagging system is great, the site itself is easy to navigate, and the users themselves are awesome people (if that happens to be a concern of yours). Wattpad is fairly good as well, but it's a bit harder to work with font styles and the tagging system is a bit limited.

How often are you updating this? And also, tiktok seems like an okay place to post art, even though it's not made for artists. The posts you like change what's shown in your recommended, and the art community is pretty big. It's definitely not for everyone, but the community is somewhat nice and it's easy to make content.

I'm at DA since 2007 (this acc is new), and, to tell the truth, when they sold site to Wix it became worse and worse.
I've never thought of leaving it totally, but I've became less active here during last year. And yes, it became much more difficult to find commissioners here (I'm a professional freelance artist so it's really bad for me).
I've thought of DA alternatives for a year already, I have Instagram, Twitter, Ko-Fi, Ych.commissions and Toyhou.se, Insta and Twi are much more active than DA and easier to find commissioners.
Tried Weasyl and Furaffinity and didn't get any attention there, though I think I have to give them more tries.
Also your info about sites is very helpful, thank you so much for that again!

To me: All art websites are extremely cluttered. It's hard to find certain images on their "Channel" (Profile-browser)
DeviantArt (Old) is a simple website with simple tools
