I've recently seen something on the TMNT fandub called "Reverse Turtles." From what I cfulfillingthough, they are just a goryer version of the 2012 carnation. But not many people haven't expanded on the concept. The turtles just seem to killing for no particular reason. So I wanted to place a backstory that better explains their actions.

Raphael is shown to be a big crybaby. Instead of being mad, he is prone to be upset and sad instead.

Yoshi raised the turtles when he was still bitter about his mutation. Thing was, back in Japan, Oroku Saki was also upset with recent events. Saki grew angrier at Homato because he escaped from his hands and forced his hands to kill Tang Shen. Even when taking Miwa away, Shredder felt that this wasn't enough of a punishment. So he heads to America to search for his old friend.

Saki managed to find Splinter and best him in a fight. After savoring his revenge, he left a dying Yoshi to return to Miwa. He never knew about the turtles until he returns to New York City to spread and influence the foot's teachings.

Rapheal heard Splinter's promise to be together and gave out a promise of his own. He said that he "will not use his anger no more." Take note that he is seven/eight at this time.

He tries to train himself to use anger less. He would say to himself that he wasn't mad but sad. As he got older, crying was becoming harder and harder for Raph. So a nine year old Raph started train passed his limits. When he would punch or kick, he would keep hitting the wall even when his bruises were turning black. As he grew, he would become stronger and more ruthless than the Raph we see in cannon. He would try to hurt himself to the point on tears.

He tried to help Mikey to keep his brothers together, but both were too caught up with fulfilling their seperate promises. He doesn't like the brothers he has, but he stays to honor his father's dying wish. He still is the protector even when his siblings don't appreciate it. His weaker character makes his brothers pick on him, but he doesn't fight back because he is scared that he would be angry and start hurting his siblings.

He isn't reluctant to fight, he just fights when he has to. He isn't suicidal despite his self - abuse. He still loves his brothers even when they couldn't care less.

He trains everyday, and he is the first and last to leave the dojo. Before he leaves, he has to clean up.
