Description
~amour-interdit wanna see how i do my colourings, but my computer is too slow, for livestreaming =/ i try it in the past and i canΓt draw while the program recording it... shame, need a new computer, i think xDso here are some WIP's for her, hope it helps
Next time, i maybe do more WIP's for you, if you want...
i have a tutorial, but only a german one, so here a short description how i shade
fox example ambassador i draw his base colours, than i use dodge and burg. first i do the big darker parts of the body, i ever begin with the front of the horse, neck and so, with a smaller brush i do the fine darker parts, than i go to the croup and the hind legs, at the last i make the shadings from the head. With the lightings, i start at the head, don't ask me why xD Then i do the neck, first bigger parts with a big and soft brush, than the fine light parts with a smal brush
yay thats it
Thankies Ambassador, for your patience, now go back to the meadow *g*

At any time do you use a smudge tool? I keep looking at your art and everything blends together so perfectly i am so confused XD Looks very nice. It's almost photographic

If you don't know what it is i guess you don't use it, if you don't know what it is. I read the description, but i didn't see if you used a smudge tool or not. I know some artists do, so i thought i'll ask. Thanks

It's probably just the soft brush and a lower than 100% opacity that makes it blend- if it was the smudge tool that blended it it would probably look more... sharp and smudged, for want of a better word? So yeah. A lot of people tend not to use the smudge tool because it's hard to control and doesn't really look that nice on the finished product : )

That's fair enough. I only use soft brushes things a lot lower then 100% but i can never get that amount of detail...

This really helped me. I've had some problems finding a style that I like to work with but this feels like a step in the right direction. Thanx a lot
