This one's kind of a follow up to my previous featured piece, "Flight of the Silverbird". Thalion's a little older here, growing into his wings and obviously a little more confident in his ability in the sky. I honestly struggled with anatomy and posing here XD; There's just not a lot of good references for folks flying. ><; Aaaand I went back to trying the "comic book style" lines for this piece since it's a follow up to the other.

Thalion learned hos to fight airborne from the dragoon themselves. He spent a good majority of his teen-aged years making himself stronger on the wing and testing himself against every current and weather condition that he was able to fly into. It was risky business, as he wasn't exactly hard to miss in the sky, but every attempt on his life was just another test to his abilities. His sire, Koi, was a force of nature in the air and Thalion was well aware that if he was to reclaim his father's throne, he would have to at least be able to hold his own against another winged enemy.
