Description
For some reason I woke 2.00 a.m. and felt sudden urge to finish this before going back to sleep.Inspiration is a funny thing, it comes when you least expect it, even during your sleep.
Push it to the limit...
It took about three hours and 10 frames.
Worth it.
Run cyckle featuring majestic Tibetan Mastiff, Sumo.

Nice! I especially love that you've captured the fur moving in this animation as well

So much floof~! This is awesome~!
I love the feel of this. Kinda makes me nostalgic for some reason. Like...I've got a song on the tip of my tongue...

I love the expressive lines for the fur, and how the tail and tongue bounce (or like, idk the name for the movement, how they move like they have mass and weight as the pup runs, makes it more realistic)
Also I hope you didn't lose too much sleep 0.0

Thanks!
Various dog breeds are very interesting subjects. Every one of them has very unique features and movements.
Heavy dogs like mastiffs take long powerful strides while running full speed and lean more forward when putting weight on front paws. The whole body, fur, ears, slaggy face and tong follow the momentum caused by the impact.
As long as I have inspiration I don't mind working bit overtime.

That's so cool! I can tell you studied the movements a lot. This brings me back to my animation course when we observed animals for run cycles
