I've planned making one and maybe a corgi, jackrussell and westie too.
Those little legs are so cute in action, but I still need to study their anatomy and unique motion bit more.

Sometimes I did, but I wasn't satisfied with the outcome. The results were too clean, flawless and looked "less animated" and more like filtered with After Effects.
I prefer working freehand and heavily referencing photos, video clips and 3D models to bring realism, but give it more life with imagination.
I still need to draw other subjects than animals though.
