Much to like here.Β The way she is framed by the columns on the one side and the arches on the other, the rough texture of the brick walkway opposing the smoothness of her dress and skin, the way her pale leg and decolletage are set off by the contrast of the red dress,Β with the matching lipstick... all wonderful. Is she on her way to an assignation?Β Does she twirl her flowing dress to keep cool as she strides to ensure her timely arrival, looking into the courtyard for any possible witnesses?Β Oh, the unspoken mystery and romance.
I see that there are two more pictures in this sequence.Β The second looks as though she has left the confines of that courtyard corridor, while the third has her waiting on the bench seat, her assets displayed to entice him as he approaches.
In fact, multiple story lines are running through my mind as I look at your work.Β These have stirred the imagination, always a sign of art, not just photographs.
