And this isn't a "lovey dovey snuggle" Ari was probably sleeping and Strelka was sleeping next to him so he could hear him breathing. Strelka already lost his mate, he isn't ready to loose Ari too. Then Strelly was probably confessing that he missed Ari, and didn't know Ari was awake xD

Strelka: <:{ Everything's bothering me. You're the best thing to happen to me for the longest time...but everything else has just gone wrong. I grew up not knowing my father, but Aunt was cruel, my mother died when I was your age. I turned out to like toms so I was treated like an outcast as a tyro by the others. I pulled away, so my mentor stopped training me and my fighting skills plummeted. I didn't know Kivuli was my uncle until...a cycle ago. I grew up without a family when Nyoka and her mother abandoned me. I was tortured and barely made it out of my time in the Tyro's land alive. I fell in love, but he rejected me. I fell in love again, and he disappeared for a few months, and once he made his way back, he....he died...Nyoka's happy with the most blood-thirsty cat I've ever met, and I'm all alone. Because my fighting skills are crap, I've completely lost my vision and Vumbi almost killed me. I'm an embarrassment to Crowed Water...I can't fight and I'm a Crowed Water cat who can't even swim! And everyone close to me...they just....die.Β

Matone: I'll teach you to swim then! And to hunt birds! Hunting can help with fighting! You don't need sight! You can use your other senses! And I won't die for a long time! You aren't a Tyro no more, your a Token! The best one too! And...And... I don't have advice for boys, since I'm still figuring out my own feelings... And I'm your family now! So is Kivuli! Do you really need a significant other to feel complete? Is the family you have, not enough? Am I not enough, to make you want to wake up anymore? Don't think I haven't noticed how much you've been sleeping either. I ain't that young, I know it's a sign of depression Dad. If... If these new toms make you feel happy then... Then I'll be happy cause you are.
