ANOTHER version of 'fickle weather', I moved the other versions to my scraps, except for the original.I really like this version, but I wouldn't have been able to make this one without the advice and help of *Andrew-and-Seven . Andrew even made his own version to show how he sees the photo. His version looked great and I based this last one on his.

Well that one is very cool, think I like this one better, its not as dark, have to say if you started with that and ended up with this.. that is amazing! well done!

Very dramatic use of light and dark! The heavy darkness on the left side is countered by brilliant lightness on the right side. One would think that would make the picture seem unbalanced but it works! Probably the ominous black line of the silhouette of the trees and buildings (?) on the horizon tie it together. Good work!

Thank you! Yeah the image strangely enough doesn't look unbalanced, I was afraid that would happen myself. The shadows exist out of houses and trees, you saw that correctly.

Definitely the best of the series, what with the color tweaking so that the ground is more prominent in reflection to the sky.

I'm constantly amazed by how photo's can change once you apply a little photoshop to them. The ones I'm processing now from the South Downs are not that exciting straight off the camera, but I really like them once they have been enhanced.
Some call it cheating, but I don't. You can't make a bad picture good, but you can breath life into a flat one if the basic image is sound.
