Storms are quite exciting and interesting to watch, and there are all kinds of storms - some very intense and others quite mild. Cumulus clouds would build up and then move in to let out their fury! This storm shot is definitely a perfect example of that. Various cloud types and layers have moved in with good downpours in some places, especially on the right side of the photo. This view is definitely breathtaking to gaze at!

The clouds in the top half of the photo appear out of focus while the clouds in the distance appear quite sharp. The tree silhouettes on the right side look good, and there are some distant ones close to the left side. The outline of the horizon looks just fine; however, the entire ground is completely dark which makes it hard to know what it is.

Since the storm occurred during the late afternoon hours, there should be plenty of light to show the ground, especially with the broken clouds allowing the sun to shine through from the blue sky.

The black border definitely 'completes' the picture, and the color is just perfect!

The stormy scene would be quite profound when everything, including the ground, can be seen besides the beautiful, ominous clouds. e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" />

Oh, wow. I just love how the deep blue sky contrasts the ominous dark clouds coming in from the left. It's so surreal! Love it!!!

It was...one minute bombarding the countryside with snowballs and the next with drenching rain. The black cloud was moving off the Peace River toward us, while another storming was crossing over. As you might imagine, it was a wild time for awhile. This area is called Two Rivers because it is where the Beatton River empties into the Peace River...this is going to be our new home...hopefully before fall.
