I had an ART 155A typography collage assignment and thought of the Marine Corps. So I found this picture and gave it a shot. It was a joke in the beginning among my friends due to my admiration of military guys in uniform, but later on I took it seriously and finished it. Take a look at my artwork, it's in there. I ship for boot Jan 12, 2006. Also, just had a cousin in the Marines get killed in Iraq less than a week ago. So, this hits home for me.

I love this picture. My brother is currently in the military so this pulls at my heartstrings knowing he's helping overseas. Also theres just something about a Marine in full dress uniform that I just love. Thanks for sharing.
