Description
Sketch-dump, sketch-dump... V for Vendetta is a beautiful, wonderful movie. That I saw for the first time on Wendsday. And am now slightly obsessed with. So, six little sketches I did in my sketchbook last night. I'm beginning to hate the Guy mask, 'cause it's a real bugger to draw. But I love Natelie Portman, who looks stunning bald and has insanely awesome facial features.
Most of these are pretty self-explanatory, but just to avoid confusion. In the upper right-hand corner, the Exit sign and V's symbol on the back of V's funeral train are a play on Evey's name, which in Latin (apparently) means 'Exit V'. "Evey? E - V. Of course you are." The little one on the left edge is Evey's initial reaction to the fake prostitute get-up she had to wear. Bottom left corner is when the Bailey's blowing up - I just wanted to draw her with a "What?!?!" face. XD
There may be more of these, and some proper fanart, too. Love love love this movie.

That middle one with him in the apron almost looks like he doesn't have a mask on.

Actually, now that I look close he appears to have a normal face and facial expressions in all of them, but it's the face of his mask. o.0 Cool...and yet, at the same time slightly sinister.

Haha, that's kind of neat. In the comic/movie there's an art to the way they use angles and lighting to give the mask expressions, but it's really not supposed to move. XD

I know...and you can see his hair move a little when he raises his eyebrows, which makes the mask look like it's raising it's eyebrows, but looking at yours, it looks like a face, not a mask. It's cool--and yet it kinda creeps me out. Lol. ^-^ I love it anyway.

I wish mine looked more masklike, though. It probably takes practice. XD Thank you.

What I noticed was that the contours of the mouth changed, like a real mouth--I think that's why.
