So, I have been busy these last couple of days creating a little series of coats of arms and flags for a State of the Teutonic Order that survived the 15th and 16th centuries. Even though theses althistory TLs akin to "If this small event turned out different, then X" are a bit simplistic, I realy think that in the case of the Teutonic Knights therte actualy is this one key event, namely the Battle of Grunwald, the decisive battle of the Polish-Lithuanian-Teutonic War. During the Battle, the Teutonic Knights lost most of their leadership and had to retreat to their capital, Marienburg. Even though they managed to defend Marienburg and got away with very litle territorial loss, the combined pressure of them losing their leadership and being forced to pay insane ammounts of money to Poland-Lithuania slowly crushed the Teutonic Order and their State, which crumbled during the following decades. I honestly believe that, had the Knights won at Grunwald, they and their State would have survived the following centuries. So, in this TL (if you can call it that) they basicaly survive and kind of take the part of Prussia in the following history.

These two are the coats of arms of the state and their head of state, the High Master. The orders in the national arms are the Teutonic Order of St. George (who was one of the Teutonic Order's patron saints), the Order of the Miracle of Roses (which was a miracle that St. Elizabeth of Hungary performed, another patron saint of the order) and the Order of the Teutonic Cross.
