Description
毘沙門堂、山科、京都。Autumn colour at Bishamondo temple, Yamashina, Kyoto.
This temple is in the hills of south east Kyoto. Its main image is Bishamonten, one of the seven lucky gods.
If you're looking to escape from the huge crowds around central Kyoto during Autumn, this might be a good place to start.

Lucky! November is the perfect time to visit, comfortable weather and so beautiful. Unfortunately I have to work so I only get to go and see the colours for one or two days a year. Enjoy!

Very little. I shoot RAW so it has to be run through basic adjustments in Bridge but all I did in Photoshop was resize for web.

Bishamondo didn't have a crowd even on a Sunday with great weather. Kiyomizu on the other hand...
