Description
A bit more of a close up, the magnifying glass helps read the crazy small text to set the day and month to set the astrolabe. You align it to north with the built in compass and when the date is set you can use it to find all the star positions. A fun toy

It has dials that you set to the date so it will show the time and position of the stars represented in the astrolabe. It's hard to read because it's so small... thus the magnifying glass

This is awesome- if you ever get around to opening a shop or something, let us know! I'd love to own one of these. I make stuff, but don't really have the mechanical knowledge to get something to work- I'm just able to take strange things and make them look pretty.

I have a little garage in the back, with simple tools, a little table sander and some tin snips do for lots of metal work. For the crazy detailed work, I do acid etching/cutting. Thanks, glad you like the stuff
