When I painted this, the 8th Doctor hadn't yet encountered the Daleks. This was in the days before the wonderful 'Big Finish'Acrylic paint on flocked card. A4

It's from a comic story called "Children of the Revolution", with the 8th Doctor and his companion Izzy encountering Alpha and a colony of Humanised Daleks (not Beta or Omega, though).

In the days before the wonderful Big Finish the 8th Doctor encountered the Daleks in his fifth BBC novel, published way back in 1997. Admittedly "War of the Daleks" was INDESCRIBABLY BAD, but it still counts... sort of...
